You’re Helping Farmers in Simodong Thrive Again 

In the village of Simodong, North Sumatra, your kindness is helping farming families prepare their land on time and improve their harvests. 

Although a new irrigation system increased the village’s potential, many farmers were still struggling. Only two tractors served the entire community, causing long delays during planting season. Renting from other villages was expensive and often impossible. 

Because of your support, OBI launched a community tractor program to meet this urgent need. With your help, we secured reliable tractors, trained local operators, and formed a committee to manage scheduling and maintenance. 

The tractors are now available at an affordable rate, helping farmers work in their fields on time while reducing their financial burden. Income from the program also supports the village’s PAUD Super5 and School of Life programs–creating a blessing for both families and children. 

Farmers like Ms. Sarya are now entering their second planting season with renewed confidence.
