Your Support Is in Every Meal Served to Children in Nias 

We are grateful that, through your support, the Nutritious Breakfast Program can serve children at several Super5 preschools across Nias Island. This support is especially meaningful because not every family has the same ability to provide nutritious meals for their children on a regular basis.

Monitoring conducted at several of these preschools showed that some children still need additional attention when it comes to their nutritional needs. Some are experiencing undernutrition, while others need guidance toward a more balanced diet.

That is why, since March 2026, children have been receiving nutritious breakfasts regularly at school, including 121 children from six preschools participating in the program.

A plate of food served to them in the morning may seem simple, but each portion helps give them the energy they need to learn, play, and stay active throughout the day.

We believe that caring for a child’s growth and development can begin with simple things done consistently.
