Hilifaosi Village, home to 2,759 people, is made up mostly of farmers with low incomes. In addition to facing economic limitations, they also struggle to access adequate education. Amid these challenges, the most urgent problem is clean water. Until now, villagers have relied only on dug wells and rainwater—most of them without proper sanitation facilities.
To meet this need, OBI began building a Rainwater Harvesting System in the village. Of the 35 planned units, 5 have already been installed, and one of them will be placed at Hilifaosi Elementary School so that children can experience the benefits of clean water at their school.
Each unit built is not just infrastructure but also a symbol of tangible love. With access to clean water, villagers no longer need to travel long distances or wait for rain to meet their daily needs. Children can study in a healthier environment, families can maintain hygiene, and the village is slowly rising toward a better life.
Let’s continue to make clean and safe water accessible for every family in Hilifaosi Village. Through your care, more households can experience God’s provision through water that brings life. Click here to send your support.
