We believe every child deserves hope—including Moses, a 5-year-old boy walking through a difficult journey.
Moses is the second of three siblings. From an early age, he showed signs of special needs. He was hyperactive, had trouble focusing, and didn’t respond when others tried to engage with him. His condition brought deep worry to his mother’s heart.
“Will Moses be accepted? Will he be able to join activities like other children?” These questions haunted his mother, Yulia, as she considered enrolling him in school.
But her desire to see Moses socialise and learn like other children outweighed her fears. With hope, she applied to OBI Super5 – Holy Kids PAUD in Pringsewu, Lampung. Without hesitation, the school welcomed Moses for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The early days were tough. Moses barely responded, didn’t follow instructions, and couldn’t perform basic tasks like eating or tidying up his toys. But over time, things started to change.
Little by little, a spark of hope appeared. Moses began turning his head when called by name. He started to eat and drink by himself, follow simple instructions, and even play with his peers.
“I’m so happy to witness these small improvements,” said Mrs. Sefa, Moses’ teacher.
Though the journey is far from over, Yulia continues to believe that change will come—step by step.
“I believe God will keep working in Moses’ life,” she said, eyes filled with tears.
The teachers at Holy Kids PAUD share the same hope. Consistent love, patience, and support have fuelled Moses’ progress. His journey may still be long, but the early signs are full of promise.
