God Answered This Single Mother’s Prayers Through Your Kindness 

Rosniati believes that God has never abandoned her family. As she struggled alone to raise her five children, God brought help through you. The assistance she received became a blessing that opened a new path for her, one that would enable her to continue working and pursuing a hopeful future for her children.

Since losing her husband in a traffic accident in 2016, Rosniati Zebua’s life has never been the same. She has had to take on the roles of both mother and primary provider for her five children.

Every day, Rosniati works hard to meet her family’s needs. Her concerns are not only about providing daily meals but also about securing her children’s educational future. Despite her financial limitations, she has continued to support her family by growing corn.

However, the journey has not been easy. To begin each planting season, Rosniati often had to borrow money for farming capital. Even then, the income from her crops was not always enough to cover all of her family’s needs.

Nevertheless, for the sake of her children, she never gave up and never stopped praying.

Her prayers were answered through the assistance we provided after learning about and witnessing Rosniati’s struggle through her child, who participates in School of Life.

Rosniati received corn seeds, fertilizer, and other farming equipment. This assistance marked a new beginning for her, allowing her to cultivate her land again with renewed hope.

With guidance from the Hunger Relief team and local facilitators, Rosniati began farming while continuing to hope that her hard work would produce a good harvest.

In May 2026, that hope began to bear fruit. Rosniati successfully completed her first corn harvest. The harvested corn was then dried before being sold to buyers.

Using the income from that harvest, Rosniati is now preparing for the next planting season. While she previously depended on borrowed capital, she is now beginning to reinvest the income from her own harvest to continue her farming activities.

Your helping hand did more than provide Rosniati with farming equipment. It also opened the way for her to build a more sustainable source of income for her family.
