Your Help Has Healed Sharon from Hernia! 

The support you have provided has brought healing to Sharon, a 4-year-old girl from Bali who had been suffering from a hernia. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, which has played a vital role in the recovery of a child who had long lived in pain and limitation. 

Sharon suffered from a hernia for nearly a year. A lump often the size of a chicken egg, would appear on her body and cause severe pain, making her cry and preventing her from moving freely like other children. 

“If she plays or becomes too active, the lump can grow as big as a chicken egg. When that happens, it turns red and she cries out in pain. Sometimes, she can’t even walk and has to bend over because it hurts so much,” explained Krisnawati, Sharon’s mother. 

Naturally, Sharon’s parents were very concerned about their daughter’s condition. However, their economic situation made it difficult to seek medical help. Her father works as an online motorcycle taxi driver, and her mother is a homemaker. With their limited income, the cost of surgery amounting to tens of millions of rupiah was beyond their reach. Yet, despite these limitations, they held on to hope that one day, a way would be made for Sharon’s healing.

Today, Sharon has fully recovered. She is once again active in learning and playing and now, she can enjoy her childhood free from pain.
