Building Hope through Faith and Climate Action 

Your continued support not only strengthens every OBI program in the field — it also opens doors for broader partnerships and participation in national strategic initiatives. 

One of them was OBI’s involvement in the National Consultation on Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation (Konas PRB-MAPI), organized by the Communion of Churches in Indonesia (PGI) on October 15–17, 2025, in Yogyakarta. 

The event gathered more than 200 participants from 41 synods and 171 partner churches, united under one goal: to strengthen the role of faith communities in responding to the climate crisis and building community resilience through theological reflection, collaboration, and concrete action. 

OBI was honored to take part as one of the supporting organizations, alongside Pelkesi, YEU, ADRA, Wahana Visi Indonesia, YCWS, Rebana Indonesia, and international partners such as ACT Alliance, Kerk in Actie, and UEM. 
During the event, OBI also hosted an exhibition booth, showcasing its humanitarian initiatives that have reached communities across Indonesia. 

Through this participation, OBI is even more encouraged to serve with compassion, strengthen resilience, and ignite hope across the nation.
