The Transformation of Ervika's Pecel Food Stall Thanks to Your Support

The Transformation of Ervika’s Pecel Food Stall Thanks to Your Support

Every day is a struggle for survival for Mrs. Ervika (31 years old) and her husband. Their pecel food stall, located near a tennis court close to their home in Madiun, East Java, has been their sole source of livelihood for years.

However, their business income hasn’t been optimal due to the stall’s basic conditions—it’s only a makeshift structure with a tent roof and unstable wooden poles. Often, Mrs. Ervika could only mumble to herself when the money could be collected to be able to repair her stall to be more suitable.

Thanks to your generosity, Mrs. Ervika and her family received unexpected support. Through donations from you, she was provided with business capital for repairing the roof, creating a new banner, acquiring a cart, and a stove to support the enhancement of her pecel food stall.

Her pecel food stall has shown continuous improvement. Previously, she could sell a maximum of 20-30 packs of pecel food per day. Now, sales have increased to 30-50 packs daily. She has also gained the ability to manage her daily income effectively after receiving financial bookkeeping training from OBI, ensuring that her daily, weekly, and monthly earnings are well organized.

Mrs. Ervika and her husband are incredibly grateful to you because this assistance has significantly improved their family’s life.

Thank you, OBI partners. Your helping hand is a source of hope for many families who struggle to live every day. This year, our goal is to support 50 of the neediest families with business capital. Please continue to support us in achieving this great mission.
